Andrea Stazi
Professional and academic in innovation, media and technologies law, policy & management, with a multifold experience in academic, private & public sectors. Author of books & papers in international academic journals. Ph.D., MSc and Executive diplomas at Harvard and Singularity University.
Andrea is currently Regulatory Affairs Lead South Europe and Academic Outreach Europe at Google, where he manages the work of the Government Affairs and Public Policy teams of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Cyprus on the main regulatory issues, campaigns and projects having a European, South European or national dimension.
Andrea is also a Professor of Comparative Law, Intellectual Property and New Technologies Law & Management and Director of Research Centres at European University of Rome, and Visiting Professor in Biotechnology Law and Academic Fellow at the Centre for Technology, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and the Law at National University of Singapore.
He published: 10 books, among which “Smart Contracts and Comparative Law”, Springer, and “Biotechnological Inventions and Patentability of Life”, Edward Elgar, and about 70 articles in academic journals.
Andrea is an expert member of international associations and think tanks, including Aspen Institute, Government Blockchain Association, IP & Innovation Researchers of Asia Network, Assointech, Italian Association of Comparative Law.
